Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band, Boston’s best Balkan Circus Noise band

Alembic (with Myra Hope Eskridge), a violin-and-harp duo, playing songs both old and new.

Contraindicated (with Eric Mumpower and Julie Vallimont), playing sadistic contra mashups and remixes for your dancing pleasure.

Ginger Ibex (as a part-time hot-swappable ibex)

English Country Dance (at NEFFA, the Friday Dance in Cambridge, the Gender-Free English Country Dance in Jamaica Plain)

Vintage Dance (with the Ad-Hoc Waltz and Quadrille Band, and the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers)

elh (Einsein’s Little Homonculus), both for contra dances and concerts.

In the distant past, Johanna has been involved in dance music in the SCA, and was a member of the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra.
